New this year:  There is a form to be completed for every club and turned in to the club's teacher/advisor.  Please make sure you have done so for your student for EACH club including marching band. Click here for the forms.

Color Guard (class + some after sch. + MBand)

Jazz Band(s) (auditions + class + performances)

Wind Ensemble (auditions + class+ performances)

Concert Band (class)

Percussion (auditions + class + after school + performances + Indoor Drumline opportunity)

Volunteers

Volunteers are needed at every football game, home and away. We also have concerts, fundraisers and so much more. If you are interested, please complete this form by clicking here to download. Please turn in the completed application to the Band Director.

Communications

Please click here to apply to Cuttime.  This is a free, cloud based (no App), data management system that is used for managing schedules, volunteers, your fair share account, fees due,  and announcements. Enter FORT MYERS HIGH SCHOOL and complete your registration. You will be notified once you are verified.

Logistics

Marching band will have after school practices and Friday night football games. You will need to supply transportation to and from school when it is not provided from the district.

Many groups have additional practices after school including dance, color guard, drumline and more.

There are costs associated with participation in the program.  However, fundraising opportunities are available. If your student earns "fair share" (to be explained further later on this page), you can have zero out of pocket costs. You will learn about these opportunities in Charms.

As a participant parent, guardian or interested person, you can become a member of the Greenwave Band Boosters, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 that supports the program by paying for instructors, repairing equipment, organizing volunteers and much more.
