Vocal Techniques
Students in this course focus on the development of musical and technical skills on a specific voice through etudes,
scales, and selected music literature. Through problem-solving, critical thinking, and reflection, students develop the physical and cognitive skills to be more disciplined performers.
As your skills progress, there are numerous other choirs to transition into. The director can provide you with guidance and in some cases, auditions. There is also an after school performance choir with auditions in August.
Students strengthen vocal ensemble performance skills, music literacy, and analytical skills through the study of high quality music in diverse styles. Student musicians learn to self-assess and collaborate as they rehearse, perform, and study relevant history and cultures.
