Choir
There’s something pretty wonderful about a room full of kids discovering that their voices can become more than just *their* voices. In choir, students learn to breathe together, listen to one another, find their pitch, and turn a collection of individual voices into something bigger and more beautiful. Along the way, they discover that making music doesn't require perfection—it requires courage, practice, and a willingness to occasionally sing a wrong note with confidence!
Choir builds skills that reach far beyond music. Students develop concentration, memory, communication, confidence, and self-discipline while learning how to work as a team. Everyone has a part, and every voice matters. Students learn to listen carefully, support their fellow singers, and understand that the best performances happen when everyone contributes. It's teamwork with harmonies—and sometimes choreography!

Perhaps most importantly, choir gives young people a safe place to express themselves. Singing can help students become more comfortable speaking and performing in front of others, while the friendships built through rehearsals, concerts, competitions, and the occasional pre-performance nervous giggle can last for years.
Choir also teaches one of life's most valuable lessons: your voice matters. Whether students eventually perform on a stage, lead a meeting, teach a class, or simply stand up for something they believe in, the confidence they build by finding and using their voice can follow them for a lifetime. And when dozens of young people discover how powerful their voices can be together, the result is something truly special.
